New 2019 Jaguar XFR-S Review
The Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake 2019 is a “charged” version of the “E” class wagon. The world premiere of the model took place at the Geneva Motor Show. Exterior design of the Jaguar XFR-S reflects the aggressive and assertive nature of the car.
The front bumper carries a huge area of air intakes, and on the powerful rear bumper the diffuser with the quartet of the exhaust system hides. Inside the Jaguar, the XFR-S differs from the less powerful colleague with only a few strokes that boil down to the R-S logos and a different finish pattern. In the arsenal of the “extreme” sedan – a luxury salon with a “family” design, high-tech filling and expensive finishing materials. For all its sportiness, the car has not lost practicality: it is able to take on board up to five adults.
Under the hood of the Jaguar XFR-S, ready to be thrown, a truly “predatory cat” is a 5.0-liter V-shaped “eight” with a volumetric supercharger and direct injection, producing 550 horsepower at and 680 Nm. At the same time, the engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that can evaluate driving style, road conditions and even recognize turns.
Jaguar XFR-S sports saddle is based on the “charged” XFR, which differs by a stiffer suspension, reconfigured by an active electronic differential and enlarged disc brakes. To control the car matched the dynamics, the engineers upgraded the suspension, installed an active rear differential and reinforced brakes.
The machine is distinguished not only by its aggressive appearance and powerful technique, but also by its rich basic equipment: premium music, dual-zone climate control, leather interior, a mass of modern systems and assistants providing comfort and safety. The price of the new Jaguar XFR-S 2019 starts from the mark of 105 thousand euros..
